How It Works
Before Your Newborn Photography Session
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
You should book your newborn session 2-3 months before your due date to ensure availability. A $100 session fee is required to book your session.
I will put your due date on my calendar. As soon as your baby is born, let me know within 48 hours, and we will schedule your session within the first 2 weeks. If your baby is already born, no worries! Contact me as soon as possible to schedule your session.
WHICH POSES ARE INCLUDED IN THE SHOOT?
If your package includes a family portion, we will do that first. Then we will do the baby only portion including wrapped and unwrapped poses using the bean bag and props. Keep in mind that you and your baby's comfort is a top priority. Every baby will not tolerate every pose. For example, some babies are more comfortable being wrapped/swaddled. Others stay up for the entire shoot and are not able to settle into certain poses. While I will do my best to give you a variety of poses, we will only use options that work best with your little one so that she/he can be as comfortable as possible during the session.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE CLOTHING FOR MY BABY?
Your session fee includes time in the studio, outfits and props, and the number of photos indicated in your package.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE FAMILY PORTION OF MY NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT?
Families should wear neutral and solid clothing for their family portrait portion of the session.
